M1940 Waffen SS Double Decal German Helmet 

This is nice solid and very scarce  M1940 Waffen SS Double Decal German Combat Helmet.   The M1940 Waffen SS helmet in a double decal configuration is very unusual and scarce.  This helmet has a nice overall patina and it exhibits some typical combat wear.   The exterior retains around 80% of its original Field Dark Green finish.   The helmet does have remnants of a Winter Whitewash that was scrubbed off during the Spring, thus the wear you see on the decals and the paint.   The liner is the correct M31, Size 58, and is date stamped 1942.  The leather is in nice condition and just exhibits typical wear.   The buckle end of the strap is present, but the long end of the strap appears to have been cut.    This M1940 Waffen SS helmet has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic.  All of the rivets are intact and match the exterior paint.  The Classic Waffen SS Runic Q Decal rates at 90% or better and has a nice toning.   The texture of the decal is consistent with the surface of the helmet.   The Party Decal rates at about 65% and shows wear resulting from the springtime scrubbing of the winter camo.   This M40 DD Waffen SS is a desirable Q66.  Q indicates that this helmet was manufactured at the Quist Firm in Esslingen, Germany.  The lot number is appears to be 10033.   Overall, this is just a great example of a true battlefield captured Waffen SS helmet.   In addition to my Written Lifetime Guarantee Certificate of Authenticity, this Waffen SS helmet comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from noted SS Helmet author and collector, Kelly Hicks.

Cash, Check, Money Order, PayPal, Visa/MasterCard, and Bank Transfer are all accepted.   I also am pleased to accept layaways.   Simply pay 1/2 down, then pay the remaining balance within 30 days.  Once the balance is paid, I will ship your item promptly. 

There will be a 4.0% fee for PayPal purchases. For PayPal, simply provide me with your e-mail address and the item(s) you want and I will forward you a PayPal invoice.   MasterCard/Visa purchases include a 2% processing fee for US Orders, and 3.5% processing fee for international orders.

SHIPPING 

Items will be shipped after the check clears for items paid with personal checks. 

Shipping will be handled on a quote basis.  Generally I use USPS Priority Mail, but UPS & FedEx shipping is available as well.   

International shipping is also on a quote by quote basis.  I will ship to any country that shipping is available.   Be advised that if you are in a banned country, the risk for customs seizure is yours.  I normally use USPS Priority Mail, but bear in mind that their tracking capabilities are limited.  For the best tracking and fastest transit time, I recommend United Parcel Service, International Door to Door Service.
