M1940 Single Decal Heer German Helmet This is one of the best M1940 Single Decal Heer German Combat helmets that I have had the opportunity to hold. This helmet has a gorgeous patina and it retains close to 100% of its factory field gray rough texture paint. The M1931 single banded steel liner very good condition with the original drawstring still intact. The liner is very tight and I did not want to pull too hard to see the date stamp. The Rivets are all tight and match the exterior paint perfectly. The chinstrap is in nice condition and was trimmed at the end so that the maker mark is not there. The Factory applied Heer Decal is in beautiful condition rates at 100% and nicely snuggled down into the rough texture paint. The decal is guaranteed to be 100% original to this helmet. This M1940 has not been tampered with and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic. The manufacturers stamp EF64 is visible. EF indicates that this helmet was manufactured at the Emaillierwerke AG firm in Fulda, Germany. The production number is 516. As with all my helmets, this M40 Single Decal Heer helmet comes with my Lifetime Guarantee and Certificate of Authenticity. On Hold Item #354
